I can't explain the feeling of leaving the country and my family for the second time around. It seems very hard.
My parents, sisters Chean, Maay, Lalai and Bibi came along to drop us off the airport. At the airport, the queue for those departing is so long. I asked my sisters to accompany Josh to get some food to eat while we wait on the queue line.
Finally, we were about to board the plane. I hugged and kissed my parents and my sisters. Interestingly enough, Josh uttered the words "Mamita, wag ka na umiyaw babalik din naman ako eh". After saying those words, I saw them all cried. I really had to fight back the tears that was about to fall in my eyes. I hold Josh's hand and with all the bags that we carry, I tugged him along to the immigration line.
Josh's kept on looking back where we left his Mamita, Papito and Aunt's. Just like me, I can see him fighting back the tears.
On the plane, I asked him to sit on the window side so he could see the view. We had a stopover in Hongkong and we first went to the toilet to change his shirt as he throws up on the plane. Then we headed to where the next boarding gate would be.
Poor Josh as he didn't eat that much on the plane as he keeps on throwing up.
When the plane landed Auckland International Airport, I called Jervis and advised that it won't be long before he sees Josh.
We went to the toilet again and changed Josh entire clothes. We went to the baggage area to pick which took us a while to locate for our things. Leaving the arrival, Josh went ahead and he immediately saw Jervis who cried upon seeing us.
Finally, we are united again.
